It was the most beautiful day for an after wedding photography session in Scotland. The light was more than perfect! So soft and lush.
September is such a perfect time for photo shoots in Scotland! As an Edinburgh wedding photographer I always love to photograph September weddings and elopements. Autumns weddings in Scotland are unbelievably colorful and gorgeous. If you’re planning to visit Scotland and book photography services during your trip you should consider coming over in autumn. Streets of Edinburgh are so much less crowded compared to summer days and the light is usually much more atmospheric.
Daisy and Harry – Edinburgh Old town engagement photo shoot
It was amazing to get a booking for an after-wedding photo shoot in Scotland from this sweet couple from Indonesia. They were the absolute cutest.
Scotland was one of their honeymoon destinations, next to Iceland and Switzerland. They had an amazing idea to celebrate their wedding with a trip around so many beautiful countries. We chatted a lot about the beauty of Iceland, country which takes one of the top places on my favourite places in the world list.
Edinburgh Old Town and Dean Village – after wedding photography Scotland
We wandered around Edinburgh Old town, then headed to Stockbridge for some more photographs on Circus Lane. I love that street, it’s really magical despite its unbelievable popularity. Daisy and Harry loved that spot as well.
Our next stop was Dean Village. I can never stop falling in love with the wonderful, dark colours of Edinburgh in that peaceful area of the city. And I love showing my clients the most gorgeous sights in the Scottish capital.
If you’re visiting Edinburgh Dean Village should be on top of your must-see list. Cobblestoned roads, waterways and lovely little houses by the river. No place is more perfect for a wander around town.
After-wedding photo shoot in Scotland – Scotland wedding photography
I love photographing people’s weddings. And whether it’s a wedding, elopement or a post-wedding photography session in Scotland I always love to be on board. Provided that I have availability on the specific dates, of course.
