Scottish east coast is a dreamy place for a Scotland wedding photographer. The beauty of this coast is surely underestimated.
But thanks to that when I visit it there are usually hardly any people there! Which I love as it helps me create the wonderful, intimate and moody atmosphere in my photographs.

Alasdair and Monica – engagement photos in Scotland
Alasdair and Monica have recently got engaged. They wanted some photographs taken as a celebration of the special moment. Monica being from the US and having quarantined for 2 weeks after coming to the UK before the engagement session – was super excited for the shoot. And so was I!
They drove from Newcastle to St Abbs via Edinburgh. The drive was super picturesque and gave us the opportunity to get to know each other better before going ahead with their engagement photoshoot. I always cherish moments like this! I can’t tell you enough. Learning about other people’s life and experiences is one of my favorite thing in life.
The most magical moment of their Scotland engagement photoshoot was the secret proposal! Yes, they officialy got engaged a couple of months before. But Alasdair had to readjust the engagement ring for Monica, so he got on one knee and proposed with the ring again! So cute and unexpected.
What’s more, Monica and Alasdair also shared their ideas of their perfect wedding in Scotland which they have already started planning. I love listening to clients talking about their wedding plans so much.
