I'm a wedding photographer myself, so finding the right photographer was at the top of my list when we decided to elope to Scotland. 

It didn’t take me long to find Natalia and fall in love with her stunning work. After our Zoom call we booked her right away! Natalia was so helpful with the planning- always quick to answer any questions we had. Honestly we’re not sure we could have done it without her knowledge!

On the day she was laidback but professional. Just like having a friend with us, she really helped make our day more magical. 

We were sat by Loch Ness when we received our previews, and they totally blew us away - we were so happy with them. We have since received our full gallery and wow, we are over the moon. We have received so many compliments on the photos and are looking forward to displaying them in our home. But we shall struggle to pick which ones, as they are all beautiful.

Despite planning events for a living, when we decided we wanted to get married in Scotland, it seemed overwhelming to decide on the details without being there (we're based in the United States). We feel so lucky that when looking for a photographer, we found Natalia. Obviously, her work speaks for itself and would be more than enough to book her - but she was the definition of the whole package. Her Elopement Guide was exactly what we needed to put together every last detail of our dream day without being there. She was very understanding of our personal wants, like how I (Jes) wanted to elope so that I would not focus on all the minor details of the event day like I would at my job. I explained that outside of the ceremony, I did not want to know where we were going and when. She offered to drive us so we could fully enjoy the day and truly be along for the ride!

So after the planning was done, it was time for the big day! While I am a pretty outgoing person, Steven tends to be more reserved. So another one of the reasons we wanted to elope was so that we could feel comfortable with just each other during our wedding day without the pressure of all the guests. The only thing Steven was still a tad nervous about was being in front of the camera for a full day. The thing with Natalia is, she makes it SO easy! You would think by the photos we got back that we are used to being photographed, but that is absolutely not the case. She gives easy to follow directions, makes it fun/easy and the nerves just melted away. It felt like we were hanging out with a friend who happened to have a camera.

Our day felt so personalized to who we were and what we were each looking for. We speak all the time on how we would not have changed a single detail of our wedding day, and we truly have Natalia to thank for that. The only problem that remains is that there are too many beautiful photos to choose from! 

Our time with Natalia was absolutely wonderful! Before we even arrived to Scotland, she was so helpful and knowledgeable of where she thought would be best for our photos. She was also so patient and gracious when we had ideas that we wanted to run by with her. Being from Canada, the planning was stressful, but Natalia was great with easing our minds.

When we met up, she took us to the Vennel Steps and the background was stunning! It was really cool following her through the streets, which there was no doubt that she knew so well. It was beyond impressive. Her presence and direction was reassuring, especially since neither Kate or I knew what we were doing.

How she managed to convince us to hike Arthur’s seat, it was pure wizardry. Even with sweaty, tired faces, we made it up, and the view took our breath away. At the end of our hike back down, Natalia even came with us for a quick pint, and captured us in our most authentic selves. I don’t think there could have been a better day.

We felt like movie stars, and the pictures definitely proved that we made the right call choosing Natalia.

Where to even begin with how wonderful Natalia was to work with! We are based in the US and were nervous about booking a photographer for our elopement in Scotland without being familiar with the locations. Natalia was incredibly responsive to our inquiry and arranged a Zoom call to go over our plans and expectations. She took so much pressure off us with her knowledge and experience of the area. And made us feel comfortable every step of the way. First of all, she provided great guidance and recommendations. Moreover, she brought up things we had not considered to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible on our big day. Despite both of us typically being a bit awkward in front of the camera, Natalia was able to put us at ease and made the elopement experience one we’ll never forget. She is kind, easygoing, and a true professional with exceptional attention to detail. We made memories during the photoshoot that we’ll cherish forever, and Natalia did an extradordinary job capturing those through the photos. When we were first planning for a Scotland elopement photographer, we were content if the shoot produced a few quality pictures that captured the day. But now we can confidently say that Natalia exceeded every expectation we had. We are absolutely in love with her work and have hundreds of incredible photos which has made it impossible to pick which ones we want to display in our home. Friends and family have been so amazed with our pictures, that they have described them as something out of a fairytale.

When we first began planning for our wedding, Natalia was the first inquiry we made as we knew we loved her images & style—we wanted her regardless of what our day was going to turn into!

Unsurprisingly, Natalia went above and beyond to make us feel heard and comfortable in front of the camera. With an intimate 10-person wedding, we were initially nervous about a few aspects of the ceremony and timeline. But Natalia put us at ease instantly, making it a priority to keep it as laid back as we were wanting. Natalia’s knowledge and confidence in her work was evident from the first time we connected before our day. Moreover, Natalia is so kind and fit right in with our small group, we had so much to chat about and it really made the whole experience working with her that much better.

We ended up walking to a number of locations near the Royal Mile for our pre-ceremony photos and it never felt rushed or hectic at any point! Having our ceremony and small drinks reception at Riddle’s Court was another fantastic choice and Natalia captured it beautifully. And our photos are absolutely amazing! Simply amazing! They are so warm and instantly bring us right back to the day. Her attention to detail is stellar and we are in love with all of the candid images of us and our friends!

Matt and I had decided to secretly elope in Scotland. So we needed a photographer to capture some fantastic photos that we could then surprise our friends and family with. After looking at Natalia's website and chatting with her, we realised that she would provide everything we wanted in our wedding photographer. In every picture we saw on her website we were struck by how in love the couples looked with the beautiful Scottish scenery in the background. Natalia helped ease our worries, listened to our questions and was able to provide stunning location ideas for our photos.

On the day itself, Natalia was so friendly and put us at ease immediately. She was able to laugh and joke with us whilst taking us to locations we hadn't even thought of. Therefore every single photo is exactly what we wanted - a real mixture of candid moments and beautiful scenery too.

Booking Natalia as our Scotland wedding photographer was one of the very first things we did, right after planning to have our micro-wedding in Edinburgh. She was our first choice based on her portfolio, and we knew she was the right one for us after our Zoom convo - confident, knowledgeable, and calm. We knew we needed that kind of energy for our big day!

Honestly, Natalia was wonderful! All her recommendations were top notch and helped us plan. Her presence the day-of was calming but celebratory, and we appreciated her flexibility and guidance. And the images she captured!!! With another photographer, a rainy day and an outdoor wedding could’ve been a disaster, but Natalia lit up like it was Christmas morning and snapped away. We are so in love with the photos - and there are sooooo many! Very difficult to narrow down favorites. And are thrilled that they are true representations of what was such a magical day for us and all our guests.

Literally everyone who has seen the photos has fallen in love with the beautiful, atmospheric photographs. Quite a few have said they are the best wedding photographs they’ve ever seen! We’ll be treasuring these for the rest of our lives, thanks to Natalia. Having her as your wedding photographer will be the easiest and best decision that you can make!

Wow! Our experience with Natalia from our initial consultation to the delivery of our final photographs has been nothing short of phenomenal. Natalia was incredibly friendly and personable from the start and instantly felt like a long-lost friend.

On the day of our Edinburgh elopement, she made us feel so relaxed and not at all awkward in front of her and the camera! She gave us much-needed guidance without ever being intrusive. Also, Natalia also supported us to have our dog Pippa involved in our day and she was very caring towards her and got some of the most beautiful photographs of her! We were able to cover and be photographed at a variety of Edinburgh landmarks that are special to us as a couple. Natalia’s local knowledge and detailed planning meant we covered a lot of ground on our day, but never once felt rushed!

Working with Natalia felt extremely natural. We had the pleasure of working with her when having our engagement photos taken in Edinburgh. It was a year before our wedding and had the same feeling then!

Whilst taking our pictures, she made us feel so comfortable and confident. She gave us very broad instructions and let us be natural. She then captured the most beautiful shots of us. Pictures we wouldn't dare to have even dreamt of! Prior to our Edinburgh wedding we had a call to discuss what the day was going to look like and if there were any specific pictures we had in mind. The great thing about working with Natalia is that she had so many amazing ideas! But, in addition to ours, we mostly wanted to let Natalia do what she does best and follow her inspiration.

On the day, when she was taking candid pictures, she was so professional and we didn’t even realise she was there. It wasn’t until we received the pictures that we began wondering where she had been to take such pictures. Because we couldn’t remember her being around! After the wedding all of our guests raved at how amazing, kind and professional she was. We are absolutely in love with every single photo. In our hallway pictures she played with the light to accentuate our dresses and accessories, which made us stand out in such a soft way.

We love how she captured so many little, candid moments as well. And some of our personal favourite pictures are actually from the wedding reception when she started shooting with the flash on! Natalia is a talented and professional photographer and cares a lot about her couples. And will go an extra mile for you!
