I was truly delighted when Sophie and Daphne contacted me asking if I was available to photograph their micro-wedding in Edinburgh.
They had planned to tie the knot at one of my favourite Edinburgh wedding venues – New Library at the Royal College of Physicians. As Edinburgh wedding photographer, experienced at photographing weddings in different types of venues all over the UK, the Royal College is one of my top 3!
Imagine saying your I dos at an old library in the heart of Scotland. Can you imagine a more incredible venue, filled with atmosphere from a previous century?
Spring micro-wedding at New Library at Royal College of Physicians
What a gorgeous day and a beautiful wedding it was. I truly enjoyed photographing every second of it. Sophie and Daphne both have an amazing sense of style which is why their library wedding was gorgeous in every single way.
Also, I couldn’t not mention the fact that I loved photographing their Edinburgh micro-wedding even more than their engagement – click here to see their engagement photos I took last year!

Edinburgh micro-wedding inspiration
Having fewer guests at your wedding means that you can prioritise things that will make your Scottish wedding beautiful. Which are of course: flowers, wedding cake, wedding gowns, wedding venue.
I hope that Sophie and Daphne’s Scotland small library wedding will provide you with some inspiration for yours!
