Claire and Jordan contacted me after having found some of my photographs on Pinterest.
They didn’t know any detailed plans back then, but they knew they wanted to have a micro-wedding in Edinburgh. With both sets of parents and a couple of close friends present, they decided to have a small wedding ceremony at the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh.
It was incredible to have been chosen at their Edinburgh wedding photographer. I loved photographing their intimate wedding ceremony and showing them around my favourite spots in Edinburgh for their wedding photos.
Old Library wedding in Scotland
The New Library at the Royal College of Physicians is without a doubt my favourite indoor wedding venue in the city. It’s perfect for a small Edinburgh wedding or Edinburgh elopement.
There is an incredible amount of charm to it, it’s not only atmospheric but also super cosy. And it’s truly a unique, stunning Edinburgh wedding venue.
Claire was wearing a gorgeous wedding dress by Teuta Matoshi, incredibly talented, Kosovo-born designer famous for her unique, whimsical and romantic designs. Her wedding dress looked straight out of a fairy tale.
Florals put together by the Narcissus team matched her look absolutely perfectly.

Circus Lane and the Vennel Steps wedding photoshoot – Edinburgh wedding photographer
After Claire and Jordan’s beautiful ceremony at Royal College of Physician’s New Library, we walked to Circus Lane for some more wedding couple photos.
Circus Lane is a fantastic locations for a wedding photoshoot in Edinburgh and it is located a walking distance from the Royal College of Physicians. Since their micro-wedding was on a Sunday evening, the New Town was peaceful and quiet which we used to our advantage.
After the wedding photos on Circus Lane, we took an Uber to the Grassmarket to continue their wedding photoshoot at the Vennel Steps with the most stunning views of Edinburgh Castle.
