Deb and Seb were forced to postpone their wedding twice and change their initial wedding plans entirely.
When they eventually decided to organise their micro-wedding in the Scottish highlands at Dalness Lodge, I was delighted to be their Glencoe elopement photographer.
I’m a total fan of micro-weddings in Scotland. They are always much more intimate and relieve the pressure and stress on the bride and groom when planning to marry.
These two wonderful people decided to get married in the middle of nowhere, a few miles down the Glen Etive road. Surrounded by their closest friends from all around the world and incredible scenery of the Scottish highlands, they said I do on a beautiful, misty September day.
Dalness Estate wedding in Glen Etive – Glencoe elopement photographer
Dalness Estate in Glencoe is a perfect place for a micro-wedding in Scotland.
First of all, it’s because of the spectacular scenery of Glencoe and Glen Etive. Secondly, it offers elegant and intimate feel of the Dalness House and Dalness Estate. Which helps Glencoe elopement photographers with creating magical wedding photographs for clients.
Thirdly, it’s within close proximity of epic James Bond Skyfall filming locations. And as a Scotland elopement photographer I believe there is no better place for couple photographs and wedding group shots than by the waters of River Etive. Additionally, Dalness is located in a close proximity to other fantastic photography spots. For instance – White Cottage of Glencoe, Three Sisters, the Study or Loch Etive. Did you know that Glen Etive and Loch Etive were also one of the Harry Potter filming locations?
Moreover, Dalness House is able to accommodate up to 14 people at a time, which makes it a perfect accommodation for a micro-wedding party in the Scottish highlands.
In conclusion, you should definitely consider booking Dalness Lodge for your micro-wedding or elopement in Glencoe. Especially if you like the idea of a scenic, secluded place that guarantees privacy and adventure.
