I was so happy after receiving an email with an enquiry about an Edinburgh couple photoshoot from Heather. We planned our little itinerary right away and we were all very excited to work together.
Edinburgh Castle photoshoot – Edinburgh wedding photographer
Isn’t it cool to have Edinburgh Castle in the background of your anniversary, engagement or wedding photographs? Especially during some light rain we’ll be able to capture the moody atmosphere of the wonderful city of Edinburgh.
Heather and Erin booked me for their anniversary Edinburgh photoshoot and we loved exploring Scotland’s capital together. The rainy Edinburgh Old Town was really lovely and almost deserted on that midweek evening!
Victoria Street engagement photoshoot – Edinburgh Scotland photographer
Victoria Street is one of the most beautiful places for a photoshoot in Edinburgh. I remember the first time when I was photographing my clients there last year in June during their Edinburgh wedding and how lucky we are to have avoided the crowds!
This time we were pretty lucky as well, the rain made all the crowds disappear and we had the whole Victoria Terrace to ourselves. Heather was so happy: it looks like we’re the only people there!
Holyrood Park couple photoshoot – photographer Edinburgh
For the last part of our Edinburgh photoshoot we went to Holyrood Park as we wanted to have the amazing Arthur’s Seat as a backdrop for our photos. Again, it worked really well.
The greens are always so beautifully saturated during and after the rain.
Heather and Erin danced, kissed, laughed a lot and had so much fun together. Also, I couldn’t not tell Heather how much I loved her hair! So many people thought she was Scottish because of her gorgeous, red hair and no one would have guessed that her and Erin are actually originally from the US.
