Eshen and Zong had a very clear vision for their Edinburgh elopement — just the two of them, no guests, no formalities. As doctors, the New Library at the Royal College of Physicians felt like the perfect setting: floor-to-ceiling shelves of antique medical volumes, warm chandelier light, and a quiet grandeur that made their private vow exchange feel deeply meaningful.
After the ceremony, we wandered through Stockbridge in the autumn rain — Circus Lane with its pastel doors and yellowing trees, and the old Stockbridge Market archway where they hugged and laughed in the drizzle. Before heading back to the Old Town, we stopped at the Vennel Steps for a few final portraits with Edinburgh Castle looming above.
It was one of those days that felt unhurried and completely their own.

Natalia was amazing to work with during our elopement in Edinburgh!
We were so lucky to have her to capture the beautiful moments of our private ceremony in the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh (RCPE). As doctors in training, exchanging our vows in the gorgeous building was extra meaningful to us. We absolutely enjoyed the time in Edinburgh just all by ourselves and were so glad that Natalia was there to capture the perfect moments. Which will now last forever! Natalia made us feel at ease all the time so that we were able to just be our true selves.
