When I lived in Leeds, West Yorkshire one of my favourite places to go to was Cow and Calf Rocks – Ilkey Moor. Especially at the sunset if I were lucky I could capture some amazing light.
During this engagement session of two great people who quickly became my friends we had amazing natural light which was a beautiful background for my images. Ilkey Moor is a super picturesque location, is changes every season of the year. For example, in August it becomes 100% purple as it is covered by beautiful heather. Therefore I promised myself I would definitely come back to this area in August next year to take some amazing pictures – I’m so sure engagement photos taken on purple moor filled with heather cannot not be absolutely amazing.
Immediately after our session we went to get some spaghetti bolognese as a reward for our hard work :)
The majority of my couples are nervous about the idea of having their photo taken, but Kasia & Lukas weren’t stressed at all. Quite the opposite, they were natural and totally relaxed. Kasia used to work as a model so I believe she never lost her talent for posing. And she always looks amazing in front of the camera, they both do.
I am wishing them best of luck, they are getting married next summer!
