Winter engagement session

First of all, we had a lot of fun doing this photoshoot despite the freezing weather. It was sunny and beautiful and we chose an amazing park in the city for our photo-walk.

Maciek and Karolina were amazing – not only didn’t complain about the chill too much (we all did a bit) but were super relaxed and easy to talk to. Yes, most people would agree that winter is not their favourite time of the year (especially for a photography session), some great shots have come from this crisp frosty day with sunbeams in the background. Although we had to take a little break to get some tea/coffee with rum to warm up, it was really worth it to freeze just a little bit.

Love story

Karolina & Maciek met in high school, but hit it off a few years later. They have now been together for 3 years – Maciek proposed in May in a romantic place called Vourvourou on Chalkidiki peninsula, Northern Greece. Karolina didn’t expect it at all but was over the moon and said YES.

As they both admit, they have different backgrounds – Maciek is a humanist whereas Karolina works as an analyst. But, they are both lone wolves who love spending their time together, especially in remote places to escape from humanity, preferably in the middle of nowhere.

What these two have is something much much more than love for desolate locations.

So, they are now planning their wedding which will take place in July this year. Although wedding planning can turn out to be quite stressful at times they are both super excited for their summer wedding.

I always feel so lucky when I meet cool and laid-back couples such as Maciek & Karolina. Lots of love guys, stay awesome :)
